OVERVIEW:
Get started in the world of downhill mountain bike racing with our Downhill Race Clinic at Windrock Bike Park. This program is designed for riders and families who want to learn the fundamentals of the sport in a supportive, approachable environment.
Participants will be introduced to the basics of downhill racing, including race formats, bike setup, trail etiquette, safety practices, and what to expect on race day. Our experienced instructor will break down key skills and concepts to help riders build confidence before entering their first competition.
In addition to rider instruction, this clinic also includes dedicated time for parents and guardians to ask questions. We’ll cover topics like race-day logistics, safety considerations, how to support young riders, and how to get involved in the racing community.
Whether you're a first-time racer or a parent looking to better understand the sport, this clinic is the perfect place to start.
